Affiliate disclosure

Strovi storefronts contain affiliate links. We believe in being upfront about how that works — here's the plain version.

What an affiliate link is

When you tap “Shop this” on a storefront, you’re sent to the brand’s own website to complete your purchase. The link is tagged so the sale can be credited back to the home you were staying in.

It costs you nothing extra

You pay the brand’s normal price. The commission comes out of the brand’s margin, not your pocket — the price is the same whether you use the storefront link or find the product on your own.

How hosts earn

When a guest buys through a storefront, the host of that home earns a commission on the sale, and Strovi takes a small share to run the platform. This is what lets hosts curate the things in their home and share them with you.

Gifted and paid placements

Some products are gifted to a home by the brand, and some are paid placements. Where that’s the case, we label it on the product so you always know the relationship. A placement never changes the price you pay.

Honest curation

Hosts choose what goes in their home. Commissions and placements help fund the platform, but they don’t buy a recommendation we wouldn’t make on the merits — the goal is a storefront you’d actually want to shop.

FTC compliance

This disclosure is provided in keeping with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on endorsements and affiliate relationships. We disclose material connections clearly and close to the links they relate to.
